My hair type: Dry, coarse (like fishing wire coarse *_*), thick hair with natural waves (or wannabe baby waves lol) My most common problem: FRIZZINESS! My hair gets frizzy even a few hours after it has already dried. I get the best results when I wash my hair at night. I always apply some sort of anti-frizz product when it’s wet. Then I let it air dry (completely) before going to bed. The frizziness usually die down before I wake up :) If it’s still wet before bed time, I would blow dry until my scalp is thoroughly dried. Here it is ladies….. Tion and I teamed up to do this challenge. Just breaking down all the rules for the challange. ANYBODY CAN JOIN no discrimination here =) Dates: March 1, 2010-June 1, 2010 (3 MONTHS: WE GOT THIS!!!) Here are all the rules: • You must moisturize and seal daily, no exceptions • No cutting, trimming, or dusting of the hair. Any scissor plans you have must be executed before the first day of Long Hair Academy or after the semester is over. • Elastic Bands are strictly forbidden. • You must Deep Condition once a week, including after each time you shampoo. • You must drink at least five cups of water a day. No exceptions. This is one of the most important rules! You may get your water in the form of fresh brewed Tea. This does not include iced tea, sweet tea, lemonade, or half and half. Flavored water packets such as Crystal Light, South Beach, Benefiber, and Lipton are acceptable. • You are allowed One Relaxer pass. Yes, this is also a stretching challenge to achieve optimum strength. If you’re already overdo for a relaxer, I’d suggest a touch up before you enroll. • You may not shampoo more than every other week. If you use a sulfate-free shampoo or an organic shampoo [bar], this can be lowered to once every week. Pre-pooing is strongly suggested, but not required. • You must keep your hair protected when you sleep. Wild nights of passion are not an excuse. Make use of a silk pillowcase, satin scarf or hair bonnet. Avoid any unnecessary detangling

The basic steps I take every morning to achieve shiny, bouncy, and healthy hair! Products used in video: * Garnier Fructis Shine Burst * Thin hair towel * Tresseme Thermal Heat Protectant Spray * Conair Blowdryer * Paddle Brush THAT’S IT! ** NOTE ** Towel-drying your hair and wrapping it in a turban will give your hair time to release its excess moisture. This way, you spend LESS time blowdrying your hair! This will, of course, result in less HEAT damage to your beautiful strands. The most important trick in this video is blowdrying your hair UPSIDE DOWN. That’s what REALLY gives your hair that extra LIFT and VOLUME. Seems obvious, I know. But a lot of people don’t realize how gorgeous and full it can really maye your hair look!
